Father Dick and Son Larry Drabek make their annual trip to the lodge for the 8th year in a row.

Dick killed it with a hopper dropper on the lower float.

With Larry living in Colorado And Dick living in Southern New Mexico our lodge has been their place to meet in the middle and enjoy some quality father son time doing the sport we all love.

This years trip they floated the lower river for 3 days and landed a bunch of fish on dry flies, nymphs, and streamers.

Fishing has been consistently productive with fish really eating bugs and we are starting to see more and more come up to eat the dry.

As the weather gets warmer into the summer we only expect the fishing to get better.

Water clarity is improving as well as the bug activity, we are having good mayfly hatches in the afternoon.
